Tani Järvinen
Tani Järvinen is CEO of Excellence Finland and the Finnish Quality Association. Finnish Quality Association is a non-profit member organization which promotes excellence and quality and their mission is to sustain and develop a competitive position for Finnish organizations in the world marketplace. Members include all major private and public organizations of Finland.
Excellence Finland is 100% owned by the association and it’s a training and consulting organization that helps customers to improve their profitability through quality. Their client list includes large Finnish corporations, public sector organizations and small and medium companies. Their training varies from ISO to Lean to Six Sigma. From long Quality Manager training and Business Excellence Leader training to short one day EFQM training.
Finnish Quality Association organizes the national excellence award process and international Quality Innovation competition. They represent Finland in other forums like ASQ, EFQM and EOQ.
Tani has been working several years as an officer in international military peace keeping missions at HQ level in the Middle East. After his military service Tani has been working as a consultant and project manager in international consulting projects both in Finland and in other Baltic Countries. He has also worked for years as an advisor for the Centre for Economic Development in Northern Finland to help small and mid-size organizations to grow and go international.
He has done his BBA and MBA in London, England and has been working for the Finnish Quality Association since 2008.
